They told me they are waiting for news from kicker. They said that if they are not discontinued I would be getting them. I called kicker.... THE SUBS ARE BEING CONTINUED FOR 2006!!!!! HOORAY!!!!! I find it hard to believe they can't get some 2005 cvr from kicker right now.

they will probably use it as an excuse, because they have the 4ohm ones on sale for like $167 that’s a big difference from $39 they have to be loosing their *****.

Do you guys think I could still sneak in with the google trick? Nothing would make me happier than one of these subs. I can't beleive that this kinda deal would happen and I would miss it through chance. If not I will buy one off of someone who bought many. Please sell me one lol. Hm... does that mean we get a newer model of the subwoofer for free? Or are they just haulting production til next year and we'll still get the 2005 model?

Thats bullshit, If they tell me that some bs when they email me tomorrow, I'll be calling them up. So.... kicker is only making dual 4 ohm cvr until 2006 and no kicker distributors have them to send out?? Its almost december, if there's one time you better have your products, ITS NOW. I don't believe that for 2 seconds. Maybe cardomain will be willing to substitute the 2DVC for the 4DVC models. They usually sell them at the same price anyway... Just a thought.

I've talked to the guy and he said he'd worked something out on a different item if they "can't" get the kickers. Doubt it would really be that great of a deal and I'm not gonna just roll over if they try to bs me. I'm quite curious as to what they have in mind deal wise to satisfy us. It is my first time ordering something from them and this run around BS (if that's what it REALLY is) isn't looking too great. I'll tell them that too if it eventually gets to that point.

I called and found out that they were discontinued, so I cancelled mine. After finding out a few other guys had theirs shipped, I decided to email them.

Hi,
I placed an order on 11-23-05 for five Kicker CVR152's. They have been on backorder since then. I called the help line today and found out that this is a discontinued line that is no longer available, so I cancelled the order.

I spoke to a friend afterwards who placed an order at the same time I did and his order was shipped today. Another friend on an online forum placed his order following mine and it was shipped this morning.

I am just confused as to why my order was looked over. The subs were for two separate installs, so I would have been willing to reduce the number of subs ordered if the stock was running low.

I have not purchased an amp yet, so I don't have a problem with the CVR154's being substituted for the CVR152's I ordered at the $39.99 price.

Thanks for contacting us about your order. When we placed that item on sale, it was a clearance sale and we only had 15 of that product in stock. Because of the sale, we received orders for over 90 of that product within a 24 hour period.

As our computerized system wasn't designed for such a sudden surge of a given product, we accidentally oversold a lot of these products.
