The model that you are looking for is the CHA-S634. It retails for $330.00 dollars/ a 6 disc changer. It will release sometime in April or May. And it is compatible for Ainet and Mbus connections.

Is the alpine 7878 the only deck from alpine that plays mp3s?

There's more than the CDA-7878. I've done some research looking for these MP3 players. About a week or two ago, I went up to a Alpine dealer, and got a pamphlet. These are the new models for should look in to:

CDA-7995

CDA-7894

Alpine has not released any of those product info on their site yet, but hold on to your money and wait for these to come out either now or towards summertime. It's worth the wait... Any questions about those message me....
