Wow! A BETA BIOS flash fixed my PC (amazing)

My main system has been down for a week. I even went so far as to purchase a replacement P4 3.4E, thinking I toasted it pushing the overclock too far. Well, that wasn't it and now I have 2 new 3.4E proc's.

I was just about to start pulling apart the entire system to replace the motherboard next and thought "what the hell" and went ahead and installed the latest bios version which happens to still be in beta, and boom! All fixed.

I'm stoked! Just wanted to share the love.

Not sure. It started getting extremely slow, then eventually hung, and after a reboot it couldn't ever finish starting Windows.

I was messing with the OC just before it started happening but after that, no matter how low I set the FSB, it was doing the same thing.

Wasn't outdated. It was on the latest release. The only newer version was beta so I tried that one.
