so, was going to go a ballls to the wall 8 12" build in my jeep, but i decided earlier today that i want my rear window in view definitely, so these are my options:

both sizes being the same sub, (re se, AQ sd2.5, re sx, or type r's) would you rather go

four 12's ported the way they should

or

four 15's sealed the way they should

and why?

i say 4 15's sealed just cuz it'll be ***

I've always been a ported guy.

and i cant do 4 15's properly ported at 3.5-4 cubes each cuz then i would basically need a walled clamshell for 15-16 cubes.

i need the rear seats so im not gonna put them into the floor, and put a huge sub up box that covers everything but the front seats lol

with 4 15's like re se's, i can put them in 8-9 cubes sealed

or with 4 12's like re se's, i can do 8-9 cubes ported!

15's have around 810cm sd and 12's like around 480cm sd.

so 15's would be pretty close to having twice effective cone area, so they have that over the 12's, but in turn the 12's can be ported. so wtf lol its a toss up. But im leaning towards 4 15's sealed cuz it would be unique and should sound amazing.
