first, people go around in this world by making assumptions based on experience. you can't call someone ignorant because they don't believe your doctrine or set of beliefs - which is what you were trying to do by saying i was "painting too broad of a picture" and making 'horrible generalizations'
if you lived where i did, you would be singing a MUCH different tune.
racism, to me, is the hatred or dislike of a group of people based on skin color.
the reason i say that is because just "judging" someone based on skin color can be positive, or negative. society has led people to believe that judging them negatively is racism, but judging them positively isn't.... you can't do both... both are racism, and you as well as 99.9% of americans know when the word 'racism' is brought to light, peoples attitudes change dramatically because of its inherent negative connotation.
anyway, my opinion is my opinion. i still wont do it, i stick to white girls and expect them to stick to white guys - im in a really good long term relationship so aint no worries there.
