i'd keep the alpine just because you don't have to worry about ohm loads with any future setups

I switched over from a SAX 1200D to an MB Quart Q1.1500 and I'm pretty **** impressed. Albeit it puts out a little more power, but it's a nice amp for the $.

If you're looking for more power then go for it. That Alpine only goes down to 2 ohms iirc so make sure you don't screw yourself by trading for something you can't use lol. I do know that Alpine goes for a pretty penny, at least on eBay so maybe that's why he wants it?

the Alpine I would keep... does rated plus some..

not sure on the MB if it does true rated or not.. I know they are good amps to... but me personally I would keep the alpine
