1. Overhyped

2. SHITTY release line up.

3. SHITTY games planned for future, MGS4 is the only thing I can even see myself buying.

4. 360 is getting a lot of Sony's former developers due to the 360 being worlds easier to code on.

Add the $200 HD drive to make it the equal of a PS3 and it ends up being $600 which is the same price as the top end PS3.

I don't even own a 360, but good guess I suppose. I game on PC, just trying to explain to you why the PS3 is a waste of money.
Btw, you know all those "amazing" game trailers you have seen from the PS3? Here is a little hint: They were prerendered movies. However, all of the trailers from the 360 games were actual live rendering.

Wrong again. I have a PS2 and haven't picked up a controller in almost a year. And I certainly won't go out and buy one of the new consoles anytime soon as I can't justify spending the money on something I won't get much use out of. I always liked sony consoles and can't see how it would be any less capable than the 360. I'm not saying either one is better than the other but I like the idea of the backward compatibility. I'll believe the Cell processor is BS when I see it. I'm not going to take anyone's words for it because if I ever buy one it will be with MY money and I'm going to be ****ed certain its worth it to me first.

The fact of the matter is that the 360 is a better gaming machine than the PS3 for 200 dollars less.

I'm just comparing the relative value of the systems and showed why the PS3 is not overpriced.

I never said which I think is better, I don't give a flying fuck about fanboy E-fights. Carry on.

Also, there is a PS3 that is 500, so it's actually only a $100 dollar difference.

I wasn't advocating buying either one as I myself am waiting them to drop in price. If you want data on why the PS3 is overhyped there is several websites dedicated to the technology behind each console.

Not looking for data. Data measurements and numbers do not dictate what it will be like in the real world of actual hands on gaming. I will test them out when they're out in the stores.

I hate to get on this game console war BS....but here is a little something....PS3 own 360 in every fcking way. Dont tell me that the 360 has superior graphic than the PS3..you obviously have no clue what you are talking about. I would love to get technical about the GPU side..but I am not trying to be a nerd right now....and one thing....Nvidia > ATI.
