I recommend returning the subs first and foremost.... Get 2 D4 ohm RE RE 12s and wire them to 1 ohm.

 

Getting this amp - http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=19666 Same amp can be found on ebay BNIB for like $100.

 

Find a pre-fab that is like 1.25ft3 per woofer tuned @ 35hz +/- 2hz or try to find a friend that has a table saw, screw gun, and either a router or jigsaw.

btw op, get the 220 if you think its what you want, always, i mean always tune your amp and it will work with your setup, plus ive done an install of 2 p1 10's and it was fine. i put them to a fockford fosgate p400.2 and they handeled it with no problem.

Thats really unfortunate then lol.... Those subs can be had anywhere from 45-50bucks, he just should of done sum more research before purchasing woofers.

I would stay away from the bottom line rockford especially if its the newer series and not the 05 and 06 models.

Why should i STFU, i was the only one giving him advice on here and i think it was pretty good advice at that. I'm just trying to get his hopes up thinking that its gonna be sum bada*s system he's getting.

im not trying to get in it with you, but im just saying that the p1 has potential, not that i would ever buy one... but in my experience, they are very do-able

I'm not trying to get into anything either... They are very capable woofers compared to what though?? Maybe w/ a better amp and in a better box, but they don't have much potential off a 2-channel PA amp(lowest line of PA) and in a prefab box from Best Buy.

 

If i'm wrong please tell me otherwise.
