i have an old school 15" orion xtr series 2 rated a 500 watts rms, dual 4 ohm voice coils. i thought about buying a new amp for my type r's and using the ap1000m to run this 15. would this amp push this sub? the amp is rated at 500 watts rms @ 2 ohms. any opinions?

seems like a perfect match. sub is rated at 500 watts rms and can be wired to 2 ohms. amps does 500 watts rms at 2 ohms. sounds good to me
