i need an amplifier wiring kit, its all going in a 1996 chevy lumina, running about 400-450 watts by a profile cl600m powering 1 edk, the wiring kit i found was at

Try Walmart, they have wiring kits there too. I think the 4 ga one that i saw there yesterday was like 24.95.

Yea, Walmart has pretty much the same thing, but it doesnt come with speaker wire. BUT, after shipping and such at Knukonceptz and everything, you can use that same money at Walmart and buy a spool of their speaker wire. Either way you're getting the same thing for the right about the same price, so its up to you. ok im sure this will sound really dumb but i have no idea about wiring kits, so if i'm just wiring the amp to the sub, would i need speaker wire? or am i way off track and you use speaker wire for something else?

You use speaker wire to connect the amp to the sub, how else would you connect it? Most Amp kits only come with wiring to connect the amp to the car and the HU.

I try to use something around 18ga, you dont need a whole lot of wire when youre just wiring your speakers.

I would stay at 4, and use 16awg speaker wire at least. No reason not to.
