Would this mess up the staging?

Alright, my stock system was tweaters on top of the doors (in a completely removable enclosure), mids on the bottom of the doors, and then mids and tweats in the rear stage.

Now, thanks to some stupidity from my dealership, my front tweats are blown, I figured since I'm redoing the system, who cares?

I already replaced the door speakers with Alpine Type-S's (coaxals), and may or may not replace the rear tweats and mids (might leave em' out so more bass can enter the car).

Now, if I replace the tweats on top of the doors, would the staging be thrown off, you think? It'd be 4 tweats and 2 mids in the front, 2 tweats and 2 mids in the back, and 2 subs in the trunk.

I was thinking it was a bit overkill, reason I'm asking if it'd messu p the staging.

My hugest problem is the stock tweats on the doors, the enclosure sits part-way IN the door, so there's a hole cut there. If I just take it off, it looks like crap.

I'd rather it be functional than just sitting there, but if it throws off the staging, I might need a new plan.

i've found that simplifying sounds much better than over kill. a good 6.5 inch component set up front and leave all the rear fill, etc. out. just my preference. i've tried the whole rear fill thing and have never got it to sound as nice as a single, quality, component set up front.

A dealership won't give him money, they will offer to fix it. But since he already changed out the front speakers unless you can get it back to stock they're not gonna do anything at all I bet.

I'm gonna see if tehy can just give me the replacement parts so I can have the entire stock system for when I have to sell the car in a few years, but I doubt they'll even do that.

I don't trust them working on my car. They reconnected the harnesses, and when I took the tweats off, some of the wires wern't even connected, just bare wire //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

Like I said, I might just leave the rears out, but I need SOME sort of solution of what to do with the enclosure up front.

i'm not farmiliar with mustangs interior. the enclosure is for what size speaker?

i'd buy a component set and put them in the stock locations.
That's the topic in question. That'd make it 3 sets of tweats, since I already have type-s coaxals in the bottom of the door. I'm just afraid with all of these tweaters the staging would be way thrown off.

that's why i said that i'd just go with 1 good component set. you'd have to buy something other than what you have and ditch the co-axials. if that's not an option, i'd leave the tweeters in the door not hooked up. i know you said you don't wanna do that, but i believe you'll have way too much tweeter with all those. maybe you can make it work.

Hm, what I MIGHT do is get 1 set of tweaters, and initally put them in the doors. If it's too much, put them in the back. Still not the best option, but still.

not in my opinion. i've never liked anything but subs playing at the rear of the vehicle. rear fill sounds good in vehicles with no subs, but not so much when a sub stage is added. at least to my ears.
