Would this give me the power?

So I have a 2006 GTO, I replaced the stock speakers with the following...

Front: JBL GTO 607c's 70watt RMS

I ran them off the factory head unit and they are not getting much power, the stock 30w speakers got very loud at 2ohm with stock deck but these jbls are pretty quiet.

I need a 4 channel amp, would this fix my problem?

Should I hear a big difference once I get this hooked up? I think the HU is giving the JBL's 20watts each atm...

Also what other wires do I need for the install? Will I be set with an 8 gauge amp wiring kit, and a 4 way RCA cable with some extra speaker wire? Im a noob sorry.

If you're still using the factory radio, you'll need a low level convertor to get the right signal to your amp. You'll need to tap the output of the radio before it gets to the amp. Your link doesn't work except on your computer for the amp (cookie issue) so I don't know if it accepts high level inputs, which would simpify the install by eliminating the need for the convertor. I'm also assuming that the amp does around 60watts per channel? An 8ga wiring kit should be plenty and if the amp accepts high level inputs, you won't need the RCA cables, just some wire taps and speaker wire (the cheap small stuff works just fine for this). I'd run new wire for the speakers themselves; 16ga is good for that. That should cover it.

If you think that you might add a sub, get a 4ga wiring kit.

Im using the factory radio, thanks a lot for the detailed response. Here is some info about the JBL amp, if its crap I dont want to buy it but im a noob.

As I said in PM, for simplicity, the Ryval is the better choice, though the JBL might be the better amp.

Thanks just got your PM, I can get the JBL super cheap...but a low level converter is going to cost me like $30 im guessing. Might just go with the phoenix gold
