Would this do?

I'm thinking of getting a couple of subs for my car. The subs im looking at are 2 12 inch kicker s12l74 dvc 4ohm. They are rated at around 750 rms a piece so both would take around 1500 rms watts. The amplifier i was looking at was an Audiobahn A1500hct 2000w mono hi-current amp which would push out 2000 watt rms x1 @1ohm giving each speaker 1000rms however the speakers are only rated at 750 rms so if I gave them more then they are rated for I guess I could do them harm.?Should I just look for a lower power amp, something that has 1500 rms to better match? Also i'm not sure how my car is going to handle powering this system so maybe I will need a bigger alt or a couple capicators??

I wouldnt get the audiobahn, They use chrome in their amps, and chrome doesnt disapate heat. That means your amp will run hot and possibly not last very long. If I were you I would get a hifonics bx1500d watt amp. They push plenty of power for the L7s and can run @1OHM. They are around $250 which is probly less than you we4re going to spend on the bahn.
