Would this be ok for this amp?

A friend bought my Rubicon 604. He is going to run Focal components on the front channels and a sub or two on the rear channel. The sub he might use is an 8ohm sub. His components will be ran at 4ohms per channel in the front and the rear two channels would be bridged at 8 ohm. Will this cause any problems with the amp? I don't want to damage his equipment. LMK guys.

So he is wanting to bridge the rears and run a 2 ohm load? There is no problem running a pair of 2 ohm subs on the rear. Looking at amp guts they say the amp will run bridged at 2 ohms. Looks to me you should be able to run a set of comps off the front side of the amp at 4 ohms and bridge the rears to a 2 ohm load for the rears. anyone else see a problem?
