There are TONS of options out there... read through this forum and see what people are using. Also, you have to decide what it is you're going for. You just want super loud bass? Then you're going for SPL. Do you want it to sound incredible, but not really going for loud? Then you want SQ (Sound Quality). Want a mixture of both? SQL. There are different subs out there for each application. So figure out what your goal is, then start shopping around. But you won't find a ton of support for JL on these boards. It's overpriced and there is much better out there for a fraction of the price.

well I want SQL Ive been surfing the forums and I see a lot about sx, type r, and kick l7s buting reading about them doesnt seem to suit what im looking for :-/ I went to UCA and they told me JBL :\

W7s are good just kinda expensive. Kicker L7s sound like garbage.

Here are three options

SQ=2 Fi Qs

SQL=2 Fi Bls

SPL= 2 Fi BTLS or Audioque HDC312s

I would put the HDC's in the SQL category if they sound like my HD's do. In the right box and tuned properly they can sound very good.

Unless your set on getting JL stuff you can do a lot better and have $$$ leftover for other stuff...

Nah Im not set on JL I juss have heard lots of good things about their products and my friend has a 13w7 and a 1000/1 in his car and it sound so much better than my crappy 2 powerbass m12s and 600.2asa amp
