I LOVE bass, if the box was built to correct specs (ported) do you think I would be happy? Im also looking for a good sq also. This would be going in a ford expedition....opinions guys?

Because ive changed systems probably a total of 12 times in the last 2-3 years so id like to do this one last time on a lower end budget

How could we possibly know if this will be enough bass for you? just try it and see

lol ive changed systems 12 times since march. if you are looking for something lower end, why would u even ask about the type X? my current set up is 2 R12's in 5.25 cubes net, ported @34 hz, at 1900W and i am very pleased with it. are you looking to do numbers or just have some bump?

I consider the Type X a budget sub and yes I am seriously considering purchasing your Type X at the moment

I think you'd like 2 even better. From what I've read, they are sq drivers with excellent low end extension. I think sealed is the recommended box, but I would put them in a ported box with plenty of volume tuned low.
