Personally, I would go with the 1500D, just so you're not maxing out the 1000d.

I likes my SAE-1000D, solid and IIRC they benched them at around 1100watts or maybe a bit more...

i would use the 1500d if the q has bp power. The sae-1000d's will do a little more than 1000rms on good electrical.
