If I had a sub in the trunk in a regular rear firing ported box and I made an amp rack or kind of a false wall which pretty much sealed off the trunk would it decrease the bass output in the cabin?

thanks for any input

Dang well how much room would I have to leave open in order not to notice a difference, I mean like the size of the sub port? a foot gap? or just scrap the idea and find another place to mount them.

O sorry no I had that setup exactly how you said, but now I am considering running a diamond d9 in a 2cuft ported box. I do also have a kicker free air mounted in the rear deck just to use in the winter
