The L5s are specifically designed to boost SPL outside of the car. Duh

lmao, everyone is just messing around with you. If those are your only options, id pick the l5's. Honestly though, id get something else. Whats your price range? Im sure I can pick you out something much better than those subs.

the type r's are better subwoofers. Don't listen to the people being douches. Make sure to read up on how to set your amplifier gain.

i dont like kicker but i guess the L5s since you want to be louder. i just hate the way the squares sound, my wifes car is loud for what it is but just sounds bad. i wish i could find her another good 15 that likes a large encloser and about 1000rms. her box aint coming out of her trunk unless i cut itwhile its in there. it was to much trouble to get it in lol.... its 4.6 or .7cubes after port & sub displace in trunk of a ford focus lol.
