Hey audio gurus, this is my first post but I have been reading on here for a little bit. So a Pioneer DEHP8400MP is powering my sound system and I think it's getting a little outdated, especially since I have such a nice system. Was wondering if it was worth upgrading the deck and wanted to see what everyone's comments were.
Here is my system:
Pioneer DEHP8400MP H/U
MB Quartz 6.5" References (2)
MB Quartz 6.5" Q-series (2)
Phoenix Gold Xenon 200.4 amp
Image Dynamics IDQ10 (2)
JL Audio 500.1
I just don't think my H/U is capable of showing me what my system is truly capable of, but HOW MUCH of a difference would I really hear if I upgraded to a nicer H/U? I was thinking of the new Pioneer DEHP880PRS. I guess one can argue if I spent all that money already on everything else, I might as well upgrade the single most important part of the system right? Comments/suggestions welcomed, thanks! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
