Worth upgrading for $100?

I have two Memphis 15-PR124D's; the older PR 12's. I can sell them for $100-$150 to a friend. I'm looking for 2 12's in the $200-$250 (total) range. Is there anything significantly worth upgrading to in this price range or would you advise I keep the PR's until I'm ready to take a bigger step up?

Sorry. Right now I have a Kenwood KAC-7204 that gives 250 watts per channel at 2 ohms. I could ditch it for $100 and get something else.

So, let's try this. Assume my budget is $300 for two subs and amp. Is there anything significantly better than what I have to make it worth the hassle?
