should i get a 12'' solo x??? 300 bucks for it brand new with the box my friend would sell it to me...i would probably make the box sealed though but i would have the ported just sitting around in case i ever change my mind...i know about all the money with upgrading the electrical and the big 3 and everything but 300 bucks for a solo x + box ?? good deal or no?

In my opinion if you are going to run less than 1500 watts, the Solo X isnt for you. You would be better off geting another sub, because running 1500 or so to a solo X is a waste

Not sure why you would want to get a solo x and then run it sealed(especially with 1k watts)

i would rather run 1000 to a L5 than 1000 to a solo x.

if you dont have enough for amp, buy it then sell it then buy a sub amp duo that will suit what you want.
