Worth the Extra?

I am driving an 04 explorer now and i just replaced the speakers and all of that stuff with boston sl80's and a kicker 150.2. I am just wondering, if i have no intentions of going active, would it be smart to spend the extra money on getting a kenwood x991 over the x792? Im really looking for a new unit that has USB built in thats an upgrade over the pioneer 3000 i have in there right now (got it for free, figured id use it until i wanted to spend on a new HU)

anybody have any input on the display and features on the 792 to 991?

Im open to other suggestions, single din, no need for BT, prefer motorized but no big deal if its not, doesnt need to have active capability

sub is a 12" re sx 2.5 cubes at 33hz

neither of the HU's you listed are capable of going active. The display and features of the 991 absolutely blow away the 792.

are you look for a unpowered HU???? if so i dont think there are to many out now days......

nahh, im just looking for a good HU and i was wondering if im going to spend 220 on a 792 should i spend another 125 and get the 991 or does the 792 have good features/display
