Worth a change?

I recently came across a TC 5400 aswell as a 5200 for sale at a great price,600 for either.Both are 18,I was wondering if using one in place of my now single 15" hd3 would give me a clear edge to get louder?Also are the tc subs underrated?I am sure they are but I have about 4400wrms to play with.Now I am more concerned about loud to the heard instead of loud on mic of course. Thanks for any input.

how is it that you found someone with BOTH of those subs, that have been out for A FEW WEEKS at most, wanting to sell one of them at about half the cost of them new? sorry, dont believe you. Matter of fact- according to the tc sounds forum- jan. 16th the lms drivers shipped...so, in 12 days some one RECIEVED this sub, used it, and decided not to keep it, and sell it to you at half cost?

Now if ur talking about the newer models with the new cones and what...while these are the other models.So learn ur shit before making stupid comments,isnt there a tc 5200 in the classifieds right now on this board.And hell for all I know if could me a Cactus,rf or even a t3 audio with tc soft parts and basket.

no- theyve not been out for a while. jan. 16th the lms shipped for the first time... and, no i dont believ ethat their is one in the classifieds... find me a link, then ill believe you.

that is what i meant..... they were on preorder, and no one had them. certanly not to sell for 600 to this clown....

The difference between a non linear coil and a linear coil is how the coils are wound. The linear coil has almost an hour glass type shape. I will try and get a picture of one of mine i currently own

(i dont own one myself) however, it still needs a taller motor, so how could a team rf motor, or a cactus motor, work (not tall enough) and how have i been provin wrong ******? Well seeing that I am a TC dealer. I got to play with the lms 5400 prototype and I will have one at my house in a few weeks.

This is the only LMT driver like it. The motor is over 5.5" tall and 8.5 inches wide.

Went over to the tc forum and it seems that the 5200 is the most capable spl driver of the 2,so take the tc of the hd3 huh?
