World's First All-Transistor Car Radio, Chrysler 914HR

I didn't realize until now that the early car radios actually used tubes, makes sense just like the home tube amplifiers of that era, i imagine it didn't work very well until the tubes were up to temperature and i am quite sure it was a power hog and drew lots of current just to keep the tubes at operating temp, hail the all-powerful transistor and ruler of our time !!
