Good luck getting any midbass from them

Weird, these just came out. I'm pretty sure you have no experience with these.

On another note, plenty get good results with the other SLC's. I guess its hit or miss based on the car/install or tuner...and that can be said about anything caraudio.

Man, what a sweet looking set. Congrats!
I especially like the look of the tweeters.

I wonder how these will sound compared to the previous SLC/SLC Kick line.
The tweeters have trickled down from the Professional line, a variant that I had in my ARC ACS265 components back then...boy they are pretty f'n nice. It looks they've incorporated a wave guide in there and used a solid casing. Dome was a 20mm to now a 25mm.

The mid I havent heard, but its newly built from the ground up- new solid basket, copper in the motor, huge venting, that Rainbow treated fiber cone thats used in the profi line...it cant be anything but an improvement all around...and practically the same SLC price point- gotta love that, more for your money. Rainbow maintains good R&D practices and trickles down value over time from their higher end lines.

Cheers.

Indeed..

I love the look of the fiber cone on the mids.

I've just talked to way too many people who have hopped on the SLC boner only to be pissed at the complete lack of midbass. The new models may be different, but I've just heard too many horror stories. I'll stick to my MB Quarts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
