wow, youngins really have a different sense of humor. lighten up, dont get panic attack over this.

You guys are funny...I think.
I like people that are older than me. They know things I don't, and generally don't give a shit about the useless things the under-20 set is fasicinated with.

i value the knowledge people older than me have. due to my age i have not experienced or know half the things others do. i was just joking with the guy.

i bought my first car at 15, and drove it until i finally got my permit.... then i drove it for the probationary 6 more months, by the time i actually took my test and got my license, i had already put like 8000 miles on that car. I sold it shortly after i got my license, and bought a different one...

my first car was a 2002 Nissan SE-R Spec V

then i bought a 1995 BMW M3... which i wrecked not once, but twice....

so i bought a 1994 Jeep Cherokee.... sold it a month after buying it...

then i got my hands on an 83 Porsche 944... man that was fun to drive in the snow..... sold that tooo..

then i bought a 91 Jeep Cherokee and drove it until last september.... when i finally sold it and bought a 97 Nissan Maxima... now im driving the Maxima, but the BMW is coming out for the spring, its getting a fresh paint job and fresh interior, it should be sharp...

I've had 6 cars in the last 4 years, 2.5 of which i actually had a license to drive them.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

oh, and by the way, license tests are a joke in the state of pennsylvania. i learned to drive when i was 9, thats stick shift... im sure i could have passed that test at age 10, all jokes aside.

The BMW sucked in the snow, so its my fault //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif ... but the 944 was a beast in the snow.

and driving classes are a joke.... you learn much more spending a weekend at an auto-x event. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I used to have a Toyota Tercel (Way back in the day), it was front wheel drive and with some cable chains, I could get through about 10-12 inches of snow.

I actually taught myself to drive in the snow with that car. I took it out to an empty parking lot (with out the chains) and would put it into spins, slides and what-not. I had it doing J-turns and everything. It really helped me later when I was driving ambulances and 10 ton crash trucks in a blizzard later that winter...

10 tons going sideways in the snow heading for a bridge abutment = not fun, but really exciting!!!!!

i know a dude in minnisota who drives a beater like most people back there, and drives it like no other in the snow. he gets everywhere he wants in crazy storms. its funny how everyone in cali has to have a h2 or big *** suv for the snow. yea, they do ok, but if you know how to drive a car, they will do just fine. i am not talking shit on people with big cars (i have a lifted truck), i just think its funny how people have to have a badass rig for the snow.

Hell, people in Cali can't even drive in the rain, let alone the snow!

It's horrible here in Maryland, I'm so close to DC it aint even funny. People from all over the states (and world) come to this area for work. There are a lot of places out there that get no snow or rain and people seem to migrate here from those places... Mix that in with all the SMIB's (Southern Maryland In-Breds) and it makes for a dangerous situation. I used to love driving in the snow until I got stationed here!!!

Oh, and you should see the drivers in Korea! They can't even drive on dry roads!!!!! Most of them have enough sense to stay off the roads in the snow, but those that do drive in it are the worst of the worst!

I had my explorer (4wd) over there and had a guy tailgaiting me. I hit a little rut in the snow and the back end got a little loose. I was fish-tailing back and forth. I let off the gas, stayed off the brakes and started steering and counter-steering.

I got it mostly straight and glanced in the rear view to see the tail-gaiter doing circles and getting closer! I eased into the gas and kept the steering up. I straightened up just in time to watch the guy go spinning into a parked car at about 35 MPH. Laughed my *** off!!!!!!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/satan.gif.9c6a335ed7aeeed3ee273e573f1fcaac.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/hilarious.gif.02a037aad04aa96f19982b298a3d70a8.gif

we in cali either over-react to everything like snow and drive like puzzies or we think we can do anything in the snow and stuff it head in to a snow bank on the side of the road. i have had to race on ice, in the rain, in lots of bad situations before, so driving under normal conditions in bad weather doesnt bother me at all.
