The best part of being were i live is if you go to the citadel, its the south carolina military college, all employeers look at you first. Especially if you are in engineering, they have a 100% first year job rate, with the average starting out at 67K. With me already having my survey certified, i might be able to start out at 75K. Thats pretty much my life plan. boring huh

im sorry, but thats funny. my last raise was like 1.50/hr and i get one about every 4-6mo.

If I get hired on at Shelly and Sands, I'll be making 15.xx an hour to mow grass for8 hours a day. Granted, it's a few acres here and a few there (they own A LOT of property in this area), and by the time you finish with the last property, the first one you did needs done again.

Wouldn't be bad though, making about 575 after taxes every week.

if it provides any more entertainment, working 40 hours a week, that 15 cents isnt even 3 dollars more a week. sweet huh.

i hate kroger's.

wow, you guys in the states dont get taxed much do you? $16 an hour here is like $500cdn take home. i know before i got this job, i welded for a gm seat production plant, and made $16.05 an hour, and take home for me was 502.11 for 40 hours.

I was a bagger at Pulbix for like 4 years in Bradenton. Went up in pay pretty quick. Too many rich snoby people though, and managers were the biggest assholes ever.
