Wood thickness

So I was originally planning on using my 2 sa-12s in a blow through setup in my single cab toyota but I might be selling my truck in about six months or so, so my question is can I get away with using 1/2 mdf wood for 4 sundown audio sd-8s or at least 2?

MDF is horrible.

If i were going to use 1\2" wood, use actual wood..

Particle board, Oak, Birch, etc..

While 1\2" is small, it's the bracing that holds it together so make sure it's braced well.

what particle board are you talking about... last time i've checked, particle board was in every way inferior to mdf exept pricing.

uh yea.. Plywood.. Not Particle Board.

Had something else going through my mind.
