wood glue?

I was just wondering if the brand of wood glue matters as far as quality of the hold and what not. I would think that wood glue is the same no matter what brand you buy, but this could be a wrong assumption. If some one could let me know about that matter, and what is the best wood glue to buy if there is a real difference between them.

Thanks Fred

titebond 3 ftw //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/woot.gif.aaa6090e619a97b6090d16dd863c5a69.gif dont know how much it matters....thats what my uncle told me to use and it worked great for me. Also have seen some people on here recommend it. I haven't tried anything else though.

Titebond III is awesome if you've got nice straight cuts. If your cuts are less than perfect (saw cuts, etc.) then Gorilla Glue is the way to go.... it expands and fills in the gaps. More cleanup afterwards though....

As long as it's wood glue It will work. Everybody has their own favorite brand. Some are a little better than others. If you keep your cuts straight, then brand doesn't matter a whole lot. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i just use the bitch next door to hold the pieces together.
That would still qualify her as a clamp then //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
