wont let me burn music onto disc?

I have the files on my computer, but it wont let me burn them to disc because they are protected. I've never had this issue before. Does anyone know a way around it? I've tried to do it in itunes and Nero, neither worked

where did you get the songs from? when i just put a blank disk in it just pops up and asks me what i want to do and have never haf a problem. do you have windows media to try with?

well i just gave bearshare a whirl for the first time, and bout half the songs i downloaded came out protected

anyways, my CD player can play data discs, and it will let me burn the songs as "data" so im gonna give this a try in a sec

Go with Limewire i never had that problem

Use Torrents, and download the whole CD at once, and they won't be protected. If you just want a single song, use Limewire.

Maybe convert it to analog then convert back to digital? Might lose a bit of quality depends on what method you use to convert.

look for a decrypter that does music. i use one for dvd's, but it won't do music.
