i have installed my new amp.. when i turn my car on and the volume is all the way down... my subs will pulse very loud just a constant beat.... i dont know that they are blown because when just running a speaker wire from the head unit it will work to the music not pulse at all..... was wondering if my subs are blown , or if i may have abad rca cables?.. i dont know i just wish i could have my bass........ i know the subs are wired ok because i had them hooked up to my old amp and it worked then (a few months ago)

thanks for your time

and i appreciate any feedback

i left this out.... they dont play the music at all when plugged into the amp they will just beat and its kind of a high pitched loud beat.. im almost wondering if maybe just a bad amp.. however it is new so i am weary of that... also wondered if anyone knows if maybe bad outputs on my cd player may cause this..... right now i have a cheap a** couple year old pioneer in there( my nice stuff got stolen..) Any input on this is greatly appreciated...

im pretty sure it is my cd players outputs.... i hooked my ipod to an rca cable and plugged it in and it worked fine.... and also hooked it up to the end of the cabels soo the cables are good... but still when hooked up to the cd player it will not work correctly
