well,

i was going to get an EA alt, but turns out my car needs a european case and expensive parts, so it came to $400 even in group buy, and thats steep for a 200A....then my car's computer wont let it go past 13.82V.....

so....

in order to run the rockford T4k and another highs amp.....

im thinking....

kinetik hc1400 upfront,

2 2400's in the rear....

couple runs of 4/0 gauge wire (not 4gauge).

think itll hold?

your stock all will still have to supply all that. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

how about,

200A alt,

YT up front

1400 in rear.....

multi runs of wire from alt to YT,

and then a runs to rear....

I personally would NOT do it myself, unless I had...

-200 amp alternator

-Deep Cycle under hood

-Dual runs of 1/0

-Big3

-2 Deep cycles in the rear

Minimum, personally.

i was kinda looking close to that, but i'd have dual runs of 2/0

and only 1 deep cycle (kinetik 1400) in rear.

someone on here was telling me they had a 220A alt, YT up front and in rear, with about 6runs of 0 gauge and his voltage was fine....

and he ran the mojo 4kw which i hear is a current hog; worse then RF t4k....

but thanks ffor the info i'll look into it further.

I have a 240 amp alt, a g13 under the hood, big3, 2 runs of 1/0 and 2 HC2400s in the rear and my voltage still drops for my Goliath...

I would get AT LEAST a 2400 in the rear, and keep the 1400 under the hood.
