im very new at car audio but im tryin, i have an 11 by 12 by 12 by 12, basically a cube with one inch taken off a side. this guy told me that you just stick the wire in the hole on the connector on the sub and tighten the bolt but what about connecting the wires from the sub to the box tabs, the tabs are like little strips of metal with a tine hole on the end, should i solder them, i am using 8awg wire

You CAN solder it, but its not neccessary if the connectors hold the wires on. I wouldn't solder them because if you want to replace the speaker(s) you have to melt the solder as opposed to just taking the connector off and plugging the new speaker up.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
