wiring question

I have a dual 2 ohm 15" XXX and a US Amps De1000 running it at 1 ohm.

I want to get another De1000 to hook up to it but can't think of a way to get the max wattage out of both of them. How can I wire two of them up to the sub and get the max power.

The reason you can't think of a way is because there is no way w/ one dual 2 ohm sub. I'm assuming the amp is 1 ohm stable? If you're going to add the amp you might as well add the additional sub. The best you can do is to run each amp @ 2 ohms. But I doubt very seriously you will see any gains out of it, but your amps would appreciate the lighter load.

Putting each one to a vc would only give me 500 per vc which is what i'm getting now with the 1000w load to the whole sub at 1 ohm. I have no room for another sub. The amp is at 1 ohm and is 1000w rms. 2 ohm dvc subwoofer.

flakko: are these stable lower than 1 ohm? that would be magnificent....
