Ok...what does the different routers mean (G, N, N+) I recently got a 360 and want to get a wireles router to play Live and to use my ipod touch wireless on internet. Not sure if it matters but i have RoadRunner Broadband internet. So which type of router do i need....links are GREATLY appreciated....thanks

N goes for speed
and G goes for distance IIRC.

Get a Net Gear.

My Lynksys (sp) sucks a huge one.

You have to make sure your wireless card can read a wireless N signal, otherwise it will just pick up the G.
ill only be using my itouch and 360.....so either will work?

N is the new router interface. Its not technically certified yet. Linksys is a great company owned by Cisco. Cisco makes amazing enterprise products and all are top quality.

Id look for a:

Buffalo

Netgear

Linksys

US Robotics

The type of router doesnt matter. G is backwards capable with A/B interfaces. Speed doesnt matter unless your connection is faster than 100mbps (standard on most wireless routers, some are even faster). Id save money and go with a G interface.

I believe it will. A,B came out before G. G is backwards compatible with A and B, but A and B are not forward compatible with G. Im pretty sure the same applies to N, but since its not certified its hard to tell. Different situations may have different outcomes.
