Wireless Network Question.

My ps3 and ipod touch seem to be running slow as of late and I am wondering if switching from my verizon router that came with my internet to a wireless "n"router and would it help. Also if anyone has any suggestions on what brand and place to purchase.

all draft n will do is give you more range, if your current router has good signal strength to your devices an "n" router won't help

But it might be his router thing so if he buys a new one and it fixes it the kablam, if not he can return it and no problem. Call verizon too. See if they are fvcking up

true, it could just be a crappy router, but the speeds used to be ok so if it is the router maybe it is brokes

or

1. there could be a speed issue in your area, call verizon

2. if you are not encrypted someone could be stealing your signal and slowing you down

no I am encrypted and my desktop is working flawless maybe the router part is trashed.

Linksys N router

It would be useless because neither the iPod Touch or the PS3 have 802.11n cards in them.

The 'N" routers will only run at N if the device that is receiving the signal is also N so in your psp's case No it would not help at all. But I use linksys routers and prefer them over other routers.
