wireless keyboard and mouse

i just got my laptop hooked up to my TV...i am looking to get a wireless keyboard and mouse combo...preferably one that is hooked up via a single USB transmitter...

any suggestions...

just has to get the job done not looking to spend any big $$$

Just get the most expensive logitech combo you can afford... from experience the M$ stuff sucks (I'm using logitech, wife is using M$)... I have WAY more range with the logitech....

that said any $30 bundle is going to ****...

alright im gonna go with bottom of what is acceptable...i should have put that i dont play computer games, i mostly just surf the net and at the most i will be like 5 ft from the laptop

that's fine, but if you get a crappy set it will be endlessly aggravating when the mouse or keyboard constantly stops working.... even with that set you may find yourself at the edge of it's range... good luck! Newegg is great about returns if it isn't up to snuff..

I have the Microsoft 4000 set(now called the 3.0). I have had it since Easter on the AA Batteries it came with. I couldn't be happier with it. Range is great, I can use the mouse from the bedside table to control movies.

alright fellas im headed to best buy and circuit city in a day or two....

i need at least 10 ft of range and am not looking to spend a fortune...

also i need a recommendation for a router that will be used for my xbox360 as well as my laptop...

I'm pretty sure that Microsoft, if thats what M$ is, makes Logitech products

my friend found that for like 80 bucks on ebay, its so sick, has a touch pad built right in. if you can find it for cheap id def go that route, he has his comp hooked up to a 32" flat.
