Wireing up the batterys.

Well i am starting my box in my trunk this weekend and im thinkin about how i am going to run my batterys.. i am planning on having one battery on each side of my trunk. one will be the main car battery(comes in the trunk from the factory in the ions) and the other will be an added (support) battery for the amps. what i am plannin on doing is just relocaring the main power line coming in from the engine to one of the sides and pray that it reaches to the battery.. from there should i ground the too batterys together or to the car, and i know i should run power wire to each battery from the other battery.. how should i hook up my amps? get a "t" and put it in the middle of the two batterys or just run off of my main battery.. this is my delima and it prolly isnt a big one but i need to know.

leave factory battery alone add the big three wires run one 0 ga wire from main battery + to support battery+ then if the main battery is grounded to the back you can run a ground off the - of the support battery to the same point or to the chassis (also 0 ga). it also depends on what size the support battery is and what are both batteries.....

ok.. i am using both yellowtop batterys.. have my 0 guage wire ordered will be here tomorrow. i am starting on the box build saturday.. basically the plan is to get the batterys installed and mounted on top of a mdf floor that i have to cut out. i have to move the stock battery and i hope current positive wire will be long enough. its lonly 4 guage but i cant afford any more 0 guage right now.. im saving to get a bigger alternator and then im gonna do the big 3.

Run the big 3 like the added battery is not there. From there run 1/0 from the first battery pos to the second. Do the same for the ground. Wire your main power wire for your amps from the pos terminal of either battery (whichever has room on the terminal). Do the same for the ground. A T-block is a waste.
