Plan is to run 3 amps for a 3 way front stage plus sub.

1000rms to sub

200rms to midbass

150 rms to midrange

100rms to tweets.

These will all be mounted to the rear trunk and prettied up..hopefully.

Plan is to run about 15-20ft of 1/0 too dist block and 4 awg to the amps.

The tweets will be on a 100rms amp but due to low power needs In high frequencies other than dynamic peaks, there should only be about 15percent of that 100rms being used at any given time. So im not particularly concerned about adding that 200rms (100 for each tweet) into the equation.

Cerwin vega amp doesnt have external fuses so im guessing around 120 amps.

Sundown 150.4 has two 40 amp fuses

And I don't have a tweeter amp yet but lets just say 40 amps.

Altogether thats around 200amps and well into the 2/0 for 15 ft of wire range

My question is...am I looking at this all correctly? Do I really need to run 2/0 wire? Looking to save myself some cash if I dont.

Most good car audio OFC zero gauge is rated for 300 amps at (20 feet?)

Welding cable, yeah you're looking at 2/0 gauge handling 300 amps continuously. Might be able to get by with 1/0 welding cable, but 2/0 isn't that expensive.... Don't cheap out on the little stuff
