not a whole lot of people showed up. maybe 25ish cars. no one else in street C with me so i got st by default //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif that also happened in street a and street b lol. Everyone there seemed very nice, the judge Henry Montgomery is a pretty cool guy, helped out where ever he could and made sure we had a fun time.
saw 2 btl 15's off a RF t4000, not sure the net volume but they were tuned to 37Hz. 3 or 4 yellow tops and an iraggi 300 amp alty in an s10 extended cab. he's on ROE, has a pimp ROE sticker on his car too.... did a 149.x and came first in super street 1-2.
a few other fun setups. some guy had 8 infinity 12's ( his models
12L5's off 1200w iirc in a small hyundau(sp?). some JL 13w7's, some soundstream subs in a super street setup that got loud. i saw mobious's 2 MX's but it slipped my mind at the time and forgot to introduce myself to him. few other cool setups.
i took a shit load of pics of this guys cutlass on 28's and a huge, huge lift.
pros an cons both heavy. first off. great choice of subs and amp. he has 2 solo x 18's ina wall, a an autotek mean machine 4000 on each. box was tuned for daily and was doing right around 150. 8 battieries, 6 of which are kenetik 2400's, 2 other huge *** batteries in the trunk. lots of crossovers, epic 150 in the front. some nicer line of jvc for the source.
then there are the mids and highs........some brand ive never heard of called selinium or melinium. seemed to be fairly inexspensive loudspeakers. iirc 10's. 6 on the trunk lid, 3 on each door. 2 huge horns in the trunk, alot more in the cabin )speakers and horns)......and when that thing was turned up full tilt with the doors and trunk open, its distorted as all hell and louder than piss. like 25 feet away and the highs hurt your ears. blocks and blocks away can hear this oburdly loudspeakered out car. at medium volume it might nnot sound as bad. but full ilt was ugly.
but i gottta give it to him. he's got some bad *** amps in there. and you'll notice in the pic, there's a lil visible duct tape //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif gotta represent the duct tape baby. and it was a nice paint job, 28's, and a nice lift...shit was crazy. absolutly crazy
this kid was about as tall as i am, 6'1''.
