I gotta share this again. Can somebody please tell me how in the f*ck this fondue melted cheese brain moron is allowed to be president? Have we just given up as a nation?

Same thing happened with Reagan in the 80s. Now it's the POTUS, probably some USSC justices and Federal Judges and the Congressional leadership on both sides. Of course looking at AOC, Boebert, Marjorie in Chargie, Jordan, etc, who do you want to hand leadership over to? We elect over 500 people to run the federal gov't and almost all of them are ideologues, morons, conspiracy theorist, incompetents, fraudsters, etc.

What would the basis be?

Incompetence/Incapacitation. The same amendment/section the Dems bandied about when Trump was in office: the 25th Amendment, Section 4. Although that would just put Kamala in charge and I'm not sure if that's a big improvement; does she really do anything? Maybe Kamala is really running the show while Jello Brains Joe just tries to remember what day it is.

That's one way to look at it. OTOH, as George Carlin said, think how stupid the average American is and then keep in mind that half people are even stupider. IMHO leaders/leadership isn't bad, bad leaders are the problem. Unfortunately, we (the US and most of the world) seem to have systems in place that put the worse leaders in the highest leadership positions. You would think quasi-democracies would eliminate this problem, but they don't.
