5x7s? 6x9s? Nope. Never installed a set of either. My very first “install” was at 14 y.o. - 6.5” round Kracos in the doors of my ‘66 El Camino with a 327 and 3 on the floor.

Tell us about your “builds”. The ones where you put in a head unit in a factory location with a cheater harness. The ones with internally bridged mono amps with multiple outputs. Did they have linear taper and audio taper potentiometers that did the exact same thing? Did you use them from your guitar manufacturing skills (the ones where you know more about guitars than Les Paul)?
