That's where the 2nd amendment right advocates lose me. I used to be an NRA member and every couple of months I was being told "Send us money, they're coming for our guns!!!" "Send us money, the 2nd amendment is under siege!!!" Yet month after month, year after year, president after president and decade after decade, I've seen nothing but more guns on the street, more assault rifles, deadlier ammo. Access to firearms has done nothing but increase dramatically, all the while gun owners keep crying about how the 2nd amendment is in jeopardy. The only thing "you guys" can do to increase gun ownership in the US at this point is either subsidize gun purchases or force people who don't want guns to own them.
