They can claim all they want that if the 4 conditions of them being "neutral", recognize that Crimea is theirs, the two breakaway regions are independent states/countries of their own being and that they will never try to join nato and demilitarize. The very second they would get rid of weapons the country would be over run again.

Russia wasn't expecting resistance like this nor the losses. It has exposed them on several fronts that they are not the army or air force they though they were or that the world thought they were. However with Putin willing to use Nuclear Bombs without hesitation that is the only thing stopping Nato from enforcing the No-Fly Zone.

Saying something is an opinion doesn't unquestionably make it an opinion. There is some grey area, but I think of opinions as beliefs on a subject that can't be factually proven or factually disproven. You can't opine something that can be factually disproven and not expect a rebuttal just because you used the word "opine" instead of "think".

In his defense, over 90% of my posts are made when I'm drunk. That's the only way I can get myself to engage with the some of the dumbs on this site.

Seen it in action myself after it was run through the pumps & what not. Now it does produce gas & jet fuel at a 95% ratio which is really good compared to others. Every oil is going to have corrosive crap in it unfortunately. Just a matter how of how much for each one. Combustible gas wise it is one of the highest ones out there.

I would still rather have the other stuff vs dakotas and tar sands. If stopping that pipeline stops China from getting cheap oil then if we suffer with a 500,000 barrel a day flow rate from the Dakotas so be it.

Either way Oil Companies are raking in profits like no other right now. I can only imagine what the "Coker" unit is now producing per barge if it was 10-14 million a barge 20 years ago. 250 million easy a month if not a lot more. 2 billion a year just in selling barges of "Coke" as a by-product of processing oil into 42 gallons of gasoline per barrel.

JR iirc you work in oil and you know so did my family, I even helped over summers at the plant since so many of them were family friends and dad being the lead machinist there. I think between the two of us normally we agree on this stuff for the most part. Politic wise probably not.

Also iirc and you do still work in oil. You know the computer program that is used to do pump vibration analysis on them? My dad wrote that program from the ground up for Mobil Oil back in the mid to late '90s. Someone above him took credit since then they have sold it worldwide and have had people upgrade it obviously for today's computers but the initial program was designed, coded and done by him and a few parts by me when he would bring it home to write coding & what not at night. Thanks to that a$$hole above him taking credit he never did get the proper due for it nor any sort of money from it like that a$$hole did.

1) We aren't living in the 90's anymore. Extraction and refinement technologies have come a long way since then. Citing 90's tech is irrelevant in most fields.

He brought home stuff all the time for that network to see if I could hack into it as a test and to help him starting back in 1986 when I was 10 years old. I did it for years and years at home. He was their computer security person for many years. So much so back in 2010 when they couldn't get back into the system one of the guys from the machinist office called him to get back into the same system as he had the knowledge and key codes to still get into it. They were completely locked out and couldn't get in no matter what they tried without one of his former co-workers knowing how to get a hold of him they would have had to bring in a outside person to hack back in. But he still knew how to get in since he wrote all of it. He knew computers were the future and wanted me to learn as much as possible on my own figuring out situations and problems on my own without his help. I did so many times over so much he was shocked I was getting into the system within a few minutes and at most an hour of him installing it.

I was hacking into that system on our home computer for many years after he was making updates. He finally got it to the point I gave up because he figured out a setup that I couldn't hack into. I was doing computer stuff online and hacking back in the '80s long before this modern internet. I helped code many things they used there. While they were very small parts of what they used I still did it.

I could care less if you believe me bottom line is I know what I did back then and so does he so does many of his co-workers. We still all talk to this day about oil and what is going on at Mobil Oil in Elwood,IL.

I still have every single program or code that I wrote to do such things saved on dvd's but I won't go near them. Not worth the legal hassles or jail time.

If you get backlash that includes proof your opinion is wrong, but you continue to express that opinion and declare it as correct over and over, then you are just demanding to be torn apart.

What you're describing is their new employee didn't know the password to the computer, but you're glorifying it.

I think of machinists as metal workers. Am I wrong? Did machining switch to c++ writers?

I'm not putting down yours or your dad's profession; I'm questioning the limitations of your professions. For comparison: I specialize in hvac controls, but I am not good when it comes to pressure-testing a heat pump compressor or analyzing a geothermal loop. The professions go hand-in-hand, but doing one does not qualify me to do the other.
