NONE of that garbage shale oil from Dakotas & tar sands oil from Canada stays here! ONLY TWO Refineries can process it here and guess what...THEY DON'T WANT IT! To much damage, too corrosive too dangerous to mess with. Yet you fools insist it was going to drop gas prices.

Anyone with a clue knows that trump is the reason Putin invaded Ukraine. Putin was waiting for trump to win the second election and pull the U.S. out of NATO, because you know, trump is a dumb*ss piece of shit. Russia even tried it's best to rig the election for trump to win and he still lost by seven million votes. If trump would have won the entire world would be much worse off. Where are the "Tar Sands" in the dakotas? I been working in the oil & gas industry for 10+ years in ND/MT area i have yet to come across any tar sand production lol....majority of bakken crude was destined to travel through that pipeline making it easier and quicker to get it to market. You are full of shit and have no idea what you are talking about

It was being sent through the Dakotas that is fact and the Bakken Oil shale was depending on the Keystone Pipeline to send it's oil to the gulf to be loaded onto tankers. Also the Bakken Shale oil is nasty and corrosive as well. That is what I should have put to be exact and I didn't. That is my fault. Either way Shale Oil is just as bad and it is expensive to process. Refineries want West Texas Crude and Brent Crude over anything else.

Seen it in action myself after it was run through the pumps & what not. Now it does produce gas & jet fuel at a 95% ratio which is really good compared to others. Every oil is going to have corrosive crap in it unfortunately. Just a matter how of how much for each one. Combustible gas wise it is one of the highest ones out there.

I would still rather have the other stuff vs dakotas and tar sands. If stopping that pipeline stops China from getting cheap oil then if we suffer with a 500,000 barrel a day flow rate from the Dakotas so be it.

Either way Oil Companies are raking in profits like no other right now. I can only imagine what the "Coker" unit is now producing per barge if it was 10-14 million a barge 20 years ago. 250 million easy a month if not a lot more. 2 billion a year just in selling barges of "Coke" as a by-product of processing oil into 42 gallons of gasoline per barrel.

JR iirc you work in oil and you know so did my family, I even helped over summers at the plant since so many of them were family friends and dad being the lead machinist there. I think between the two of us normally we agree on this stuff for the most part. Politic wise probably not.

Also iirc and you do still work in oil. You know the computer program that is used to do pump vibration analysis on them? My dad wrote that program from the ground up for Mobil Oil back in the mid to late '90s. Someone above him took credit since then they have sold it worldwide and have had people upgrade it obviously for today's computers but the initial program was designed, coded and done by him and a few parts by me when he would bring it home to write coding & what not at night. Thanks to that a$$hole above him taking credit he never did get the proper due for it nor any sort of money from it like that a$$hole did.

We haven’t needed oil for well over 100 years, but that tech got classified and all you know about it is the random UFO’s they show on the news around the military, rarely. That’s all you get to see. They kept us on oil exactly for the purpose of resource wars and control of nations by limited flow resources.
