So we've got conservatives threatening and harassing Target workers over Rainbow displays. Now the LGBTQ+ is fighting back by threatening to escalate the violece. I guess this what "The Lizard People" have wanted all along.

Really, that's where we are as a Society? LGBTQxyz's and straight people can't drink the same beers, shop at the same stores??? That's the solution?
I wouldn't go that far. I have poked a few lesbians. Shared meals with them. Have some very close family friends that are lesbians. What I am saying is if these one's who want to have no self control and want to blow stuff up can't get along with people they should think about segregating themselves so they don't have to worry about people hurting their sensitive feelings. You can't cater to everyone and you can't please everyone. To get mad at a store for trying to stay neutral is dumb. But then again, the world is FULL of stupid people.

I don't their mad that a store is "trying to stay neutral," but rather there is a segment of society that is trying to "erase them society" and Target has chosen to cave into that group. Target, Bud Light, Northface (and sure many others) were preaching a message of inclusion for the LGBTQxyz community going into Pride Month, but quickly turned their backs on the message when it become inconvenient. Obviously threatening to blow the store isn't the right solution, but I don't think the threats have anything to do with the LGBTQxyz community's inability to get along with others.

Well when part of the trans movement pushes reassignment for kids, men in women's restroom, men in women's sports, burlesque shows aimed at kids, guys dressed liked strippers reading to kids, and so forth..you'll have people pushing back...maybe if it wasn't hate crime to to not be ok with that fringe but that's not ok...if don't accept all the bs you're labeled as a homophobe no matter whatever else you think...all or nothing doesn't work no matter what the issue...

What is Target? It is a business. A major one. Their goal is to make a profit. Include the lgbtq community and make more profit. When the larger non lgbtq community says screw that then Target loses more profit than they would have made including advertising for the lgbtq community. So they go neutral to recover their profits.

Nobody is trying to "erase them". What people don't want is anyone telling them that their kids will be a part of the lgbtq society be it in school, in stores, in public, whether they like it or not. Now it has grown to being in everyone's face all the time and the narrative is if you don't like it you are a hatemonger. It's bullshit.

Be ghey, be proud of it but like religion, don't force your personal views onto others. Just because you choose to be a way does not mean you get to force others to be a part of your choice. Want to make the world a better place, be a part of your kids lives and raise them to have some common sense. If they want to be like Rob and be into guys when they become an adult, fine, if they want to scissor gashes... fine. Let them make the choice after they become adults or with guidance if they make the choice earlier in life. Like after puberty.

I think people are indeed trying to "erase" them or if not erase them then at least segregate them from the rest of society. Speaking out against "All Ages Burlesque Drag Queen" shows is one thing - punishing businesses for doing business with the LGBTQxyz community is something else entirely and pretty sick IMHO. You have conservative influencers saying things like "we must make it toxic to business with the LGBTQxyz community." Elements of the anti-LGBTQ movement clearly have intentions that go beyond restriction what has been unreasonable behavior from some in the LGBTQ community.

As you said if you want to make the world a better place, then be part of you kids lives - so the neoconservatives who are so up in arms over the visibility of the LGBTQxyz community have absolutely nothing to worry about. Just be involved with your kids and there is no reason to fear a Bud Light bit Dylan Mulvaney or that there is a small Pride display at Target. I wouldn't even call the Pride displays "Pride displays" they're more like a bunch of rainbow crap in a section of Target. What is with all the hatred, fear and divisiveness? Why do elements of the anti-LGBTQ movement want to make LGBTQ toxic? Furthermore, why are rank & file conservatives unwilling to call out the extremists who are attacking the LGBTQ movement at every turn.

I'd say there is a litle something wrong with voting with your wallet when it's part of an effort to exclude a group of people from society. And this has gone beyond voting with your wallet, Target employees were being harassed and threatened. Boycotting a company for Trump merch is also distasteful.

Pretty much every boycott in the past 5 years or so has been essentially about excluding people...conservatives, liberals, trans, Christians, Trump supporters, etc...you can thank identity politics for it...
