Parts of the gov have made this into a Reichstag event and lied, withheld information, and blown this whole event out of proportion. I certainly don't support withholding evidence. However, this is why Qanon Shaman got hammered.

There is plenty of the "Do as I say" on both sides. I don't think the right really cares if their leaders pay for abortions, philander, completely avoid taxation, etc, etc, etc. It's more about restricting the actions of the masses. Lets not forget the left was talking about criminal charges when Trump got caught with classified docs, but now that Biden has also been caught with classified docs that angle has died down.
