That's a pretty bold statement. My dad never went to college & he is the superintindent of a multi-billion dollar company, & makes over $300k a year. With that attitude just go look in the mirror if you wanna see scum. You aren't any better than anyone else.

You are 2 samples from an entire state. In 2010 Michigan became the first state to lose population % for a year since the great depression. North Carolina was 2nd to TX in population increase, around 17-19%. TX barely beat out NC, I imagine illegal immigrants made a contribution to that. Hell, my dad's hired several people at his job who've migrated from Michigan in the last few years.

Thats how it was back in the day. Tradesmen didnt need an education. All potential employeers wanted back then was know how. Thats not how the job market is today. Take your dad out of his job and try to put him in another equal job with equal pay. Nobody will hire him. Employeers now want to see a degree and certifications.
