WindowsMP dual screen ?

i am at work, and am using my laptop and desktop with my one monitor... i just tap ctrl twice to switch between the two... when using windows media player on my laptop, it shows the movie on my laptop, but only shows up as a purple screen on my monitor... it worked a few months a go, but hasn't worked since... anyone know why? i am not showing the movie on my desktop because it doens't have a dvd readable drive...

also, my WMP won't autohide the menu when i switch into full screen mode and move my cursor to the far side out of view... is there an option to make this happen?

weird, you checked all the WMP settings?

it will do that to you, its weird. Have you tried right clicking on the media file in xp and telling it what monitor to play on? Its the bottom most option when you right click
